The TL performance luxury sedan has been Acura's top selling vehicle for the past six months. Year-to-date TL sales are up 43.6 percent at 18,620 units, surpassing last year by 5,825 vehicles. Continued strong demand for the MDX helped the luxury SUV achieve record March sales of 5,194, besting the same month last year by 6.3 percent.
"Despite a somewhat tentative economy, Acura sales continue to increase at a record pace," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president, sales. "And next week in New York we will unveil a prototype of the all-new 2005 RL with leading-edge technology that will revolutionize the concept of all-wheel drive."
The hot-selling TSX sports sedan also continues to perform above forecast with
sales of 2,206 units. A prototype of the 2005 RL luxury performance sedan will
make its world debut at the New York International Auto Show next week.
