RealTime Racing (RTR) was the first team to compete using Acura-branded vehicles.
The tradition of winning continues to this day, as RealTime Racing's Peter
Cunningham won the 2005 Driver's Championship and Acura the Manufacturer's
Championship. This race-prepared TSX A-SPEC boasts a fully-built K24A2 engine
with 12.5:1 compression pistons, Carillo rods, RTR spring retainers and engine
mounts and everything else needed to be competitive on the track. The chassis
is lightened to the minimum 2650 pounds, and enhanced with Eibach racing springs,
Moton adjustable struts and RTR Chromoly front and rear suspension components.
The six-speed transmission is mated to a Tilton flywheel and clutch. Inside,
a Sparco seat, belts and steering wheel combine with the Racetech radios and
Hella switches and relays for a race-winning environment.
